Job Description



This is a one year Industrial Placement starting on 7th September 2026. To be eligible for this programme you

must

be currently studying at University and undertaking a one year industrial placement as part of your course.

You must be returning to University in September 2027.

Job purpose




To provide administrative assistance to the Finance Team. Where applicable, to place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and*
to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.*


Key Responsibilities:




Accounting




Supporting the Finance Team at month-end by performing data extraction and other projects as required Assist other members in the Finance Team to ensure that all invoices and postings are correctly coded within the General Ledger Providing aspects of the business with ad hoc pieces of analysis work as and when required Provide support to the wider finance team as and when required Support to Financial Reporting and Control team Support for preparation of Trial Balance and monthly management accounts Support for Preparation of Annual Report and Accounts Project support to the Finance Team across audit, business partnering and systems improvement Working with our systems, processes and reporting platforms to support business performance and day to day management Take responsibility for our office admin tasks

Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.
