Financial Controller

It's an exciting time to join our Group, currently we are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join our team at our factory in Belton. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing financials for the company and Transactional processing.

The Financial Controllerwill work closely with the Group Finance Director and be supported by a team of finance staff.

Our Finance

Manager will:

Report site financial operational performance and ensure accurate and clear reporting to the site leadership

Ensure monthly management accounts are produced on a timely basis

Review and drive improvements in site forecasting and performance metrics. Manage day to day cash

Act as business partner to management, but ensuring independence is always maintained

Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed on a timely basis

Manage a team and be responsible for training

Be responsible for dealing with the Companies auditors and dealing with external advisors

Ensure all statutory deadlines are met

You'll be expected to work as part of the team in a confidential and professional manner.

The Financial Controller Candidate:

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified & looking for that next step up.

Experience of using ERP systems would be helpful

Experience of managing cashflows

Excellent numeracy skills and a track record of accurately recording financial information

Strong IT skills

The ability to manage own workload and complete reports to set deadlines, whilst being flexible to adapt to situations as they arise

Superb organisational skills with high attention to detail

The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to adapt when liaising with non-financially minded people
