Job Description


Axon Moore are recruiting a Financial Controller for a privately owned services business based in Bradford. The business sit in a rapidly growing market at the forefront of technology with a number of exciting years ahead as a finance team.

The business have seen 20% growth in revenue for the past 2 years, aligned with new contract wins this trend is expected to continue.

The role reports directly into theFinance Director & plays a key part in the company\'s financial operations. You will be an integral component in driving business performance through offering yourself as business partner to non-finance stakeholders & assist in the production of credible MI. You will be responsible for accurate understanding, challenge & reporting of revenue, costs, fixed assets, stock as well as the wider balance sheet.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee end-to-end financial operations within the company
  • Production/review of monthly management accounts
  • Consolidation of monthly financial accounts & feed into Board pack
  • Lead & manage the finance team
  • Offer insightful MI on spending trends & cost-saving initiatives
  • Cash-flow forecasting
  • Co-ordination of annual audit
In order to be considered for the role you must:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong line management skills
  • Examples of streamlining processes
  • Ability to meet deadlines
Salary/Package
  • \xc2\xa355,000 - \xc2\xa365,000
