Job Description


I am currently partnering with a renowned company based in West Yorkshire who are looking to bring in an all encompassing Financial Controller to look after a specific are of the business leading a team of 3!

The company has went through an exciting acquisition and merger activity in the past 2 years and is now set up to build out several exciting positions across the finance function.

This Financial Controller role is responsible for financial control, performance improvement, and long-term planning in a factory or supply chain setting. Key responsibilities include maintaining financial controls, analysing performance data, and collaborating with the General Manager. The role also involves setting forward forecasts, budgeting, and decision-making. It plays a crucial role in safeguarding assets, audit compliance, and supporting the site\'s leadership with data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE, skilled in influencing and data analysis, and possessing strong financial control knowledge. They should be confident in challenging norms and resolving conflicts, proficient in financial systems, and an efficient team player with experience in process improvement. Strong business acumen, effective collaboration across functions, and a balance between analysis and problem-solving speed are key. In summary, they are proactive, ready to challenge the status quo, and focused on enhancing operations.
