An analytical mindset is essential to assess financial data thoroughly and make data-driven recommendations to senior management. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures, effectively communicating financial results, and fostering a culture of accountability. • Oversee and manage the financial planning and budgeting process for the manufacturing division.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial reports that provide insights into manufacturing costs and profitability.
• Monitor and analyse production costs, efficiency metrics, and operational performance against budget.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through regular auditing.
• Collaborate with various department heads to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for manufacturing operations.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) desirable but not essential. Happy to consider QBE
• Proven management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems specific to manufacturing industries.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
