The post is for a full time permanent Financial Controller, working 37.5 hours per week and is based at our Head Office at Kearsney Manor Kent. We offer a competitive salary range of
70,000 - 90,000 per annum depending on experience. Further benefits include 36 days paid annual leave per year and a loyalty scheme which rewards you with extra annual leave following 2 years of service.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for the full finance function, reporting directly to Company Directors. Leading a small, dedicated team, you will manage day-to-day operations as well as provide strategic financial guidance to support continued growth.

Key Role and Responsibilities
Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Deliver timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with UK accounting standards
Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and work alongside colleagues within all C&C departments to ensure efficient and effective budgets.
Lead financial planning to support strategic business initiatives
Ensure tax compliance and manage relationships with auditors and external advisors
Drive operational efficiencies through sound financial controls and policies
Prepare board-level reports and KPIs
Provide strategic insight and recommendations to senior leadership
Implement and manage asset finance and ERP systems
Requirements
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong experience in SME finance leadership within a growth company culture
Proven ability to manage the finance function independently
Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software
Commercially minded, proactive, and confident communicator
Essential sector experience required
