Job Description

We are seeking an experineced Financial Controller due to business expansion. We are an international leader in corporate and fiduciary services working with high net worth families and major banks around the world. Our headquarters are based in Singapore with additional offices in Hong Kong and Dubai, and we are looking to setup an office in Edinburgh for UK and Scotland companies for both our Group and for external clients. We are looking for an Financial Controller with experience handling UK and Scotland companies to meet all government regulatory filings and to ensure our entities remain compliant by liaising with clients and internal staff to ensure various government deadlines and requirements are met. Any experience with human resources, handling SMS employment, payroll, and company secretarial work is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records for Group entities and external UK and Scotland entities Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities Assist with monthly Board reporting, including variance and performance analysis Monitor and review Group financial performance against budget Contribute to consolidated financial statements and external audit deliverables Calculate intercompany recharges and reconcile balances Liaise with Group Tax and other teams on intercompany transactions Assist in enhancing controls and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies Manage all accounting transactions and filing returns Obtaining UTR numbers and liaising with UK and Scotland government departments Act as Tax Agent for some companies Reconcile accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliation Ensure timely bank payments Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Liaise with 3rd Parties in relation to Payroll production Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company's financial health and liquidity Liaise with Auditors and Banks Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations Act as joint bank signatory on internal companies to raise invoice payments
You'll thrive in this role if you have:

3+ years of experience in Hospitality finance, accounting, or audit (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) Experience with tax and government filings and government online applications Strong Quickbooks and Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) Experience with hospitality companies is a plus Confidence managing your own workload and meeting deadlines Excellent attention to detail and communication skills A proactive and analytical mindset with a drive for quality Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Pay: 30,000.00-45,000.00 per year
