Lick & Stick Graphics are experts in the printing and installation of graphics for retail, events, TV & film. Based in Egham, Surrey, we have a reputation for delivering a high quality, bespoke service to our customers.


We're currently seeking a Financial Controller to join the team to be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business. This includes managing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, bookkeeping and overseeing day-to-day transactions. The role will involve working closely with the company Directors and other departments, providing financial advice and representing the company in financial meetings. The role is also responsible for the management of the Finance Administrator. The role is part-time, 15-18 hours per week, we can be flexible as to whether this is 2 long days or 3 shorter days per week - (ideally covering Tuesday to Thursday), office based.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities and processes + Sales Ledger Management; timely and accurate invoicing, credit control activity & customer turnover reporting
+ Purchase Ledger Management; monthly support statement reconciliations, purchase invoice coding and analysis.
+ VAT - review, reconcile and timely submission of VAT returns & payment of VAT liability
+ Bank and Card Payment and Card Receipt Management
Financial Reporting & Analysis + Develop regular reporting & analysis of key financial metrics as agreed with the Directors
Monthly and Annual Management Accounting + Budget management; cash flow reporting
+ Finalise year end accounts, liaise with auditors to product statutory accounts & corporation tax returns
Financial Forecasting + Work with Directors to produce annual financial forecasts; sales/turnover, cost of sales
+ Monitoring of forecast against actuals, monitoring of gross margin % and associated analysis
Responsible for Payroll & Pension processing and administration + Ensure new starter & leaver process is managed accurately along with any annual amendments
+ Manage the timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll
+ Check, reconcile and process authorised commission and overtime claims
+ Pension Administration - Monthly online pension contribution submission, payments, monitor, review and update as needed.
Responsible for researching and advising on relevant insurances, utility contracts, compliance and GDPR

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field ACCA, CIMA Qualified

Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles Experience with Sage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in a financial control role An analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve problems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement Ability to work well within a small multi skilled team

Desirable

Knowledge or experience working within a production environment * Knowledge of the Digital Print Production industry
