The Hartlepool Site, which employs 130 staff, provides technology-focused manufacturing including PCB assembly, box build, test and the integration of design-led connectivity and power solutions.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to join our small team. The role will involve some day-to-day processing relating to Accounts Receivable, supervision of the Accounts Assistant, responsible for Accounts Payable and the maintenance and improvement of internal controls.

The key responsibilities will be:

Accounts receivable including credit control Daily bank reconciliations Supervise accounts payable Payment run sign-off Updating weekly cashflow forecasts Month end ledger closing Quarterly VAT returns Maintenance of internal controls Dealing with ad hoc requests Main point of contact for external audit

Qualifications and experience

Accounting qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience of SAP and strong excel skills would be beneficial Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Strong analytical skills
