Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing and expertise in SAP?We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Liverpool, operating as part of a successful and dynamic international group.

• Ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Conducting detailed financial analysis, variance reporting
• Overseeing and improving product costing and manufacturing cost controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Ensuring full compliance with internal controls and group reporting standards
• Leading continuous improvements in financial processes and SAP improvement projects
• Management of a small team

Varied and interesting site manufacturing finance roleInitially a 12 month contract with potential long term opportunities

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes
• Excellent SAP skills
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site role

• A competitive salary in the range of 60,000 - 70,000
