Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee insolvency cashiering, ensuring accurate management of statutory bonding, VAT, and corporation tax returns.
• Administer and transition the Insolvency Practitioners System (IPS) to cloud-based solutions, including data migration and team training.
• Handle daily and monthly cash management activities, prepare cash flow forecasts, and produce detailed management accounts.
• Process staff expenses, prepare VAT returns, coordinate with external accountants for payroll and tax filings, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain company books and statutory registers, manage regulatory filings, and ensure all submissions are completed accurately.
• Review staff time records, analyse productivity trends, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost recovery.
• Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, manage engagement documentation, and ensure seamless integration into the firm's processes.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with experience in practice finance and regulatory compliance.
• Proven background in financial controller roles or similar positions within professional services.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with partners and external advisers.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
