Main Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Board and working closely with the head office and the accounting firm, the

Financial Controller

will play a key role in ensuring robust financial governance and performance monitoring.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Take part in-depth analysis of revenue streams, costs, and profitability across all departments (restaurant, bar, events). Take part to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Operational & Business Support:

Partner with operational managers to track performance indicators, margins, and KPIs. Support menu engineering and cost control strategies (food & beverage costs, labor costs). Validation of supplier quotes in collaboration with the head office. In charge of proper implementation and monitoring of

MARKETMAN

(procurement software). Manage client accounts (account opening, payments, follow-up with the operational team and the Berkeley hotel).

Internal Control & Compliance:

Design and enforce strong internal control systems to secure assets and prevent financial risks. Ensure compliance with all local accounting, tax, and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with

UK law

. In charge of insurance contracts. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. Verify that the accounting firm is up to date. Develop risk management strategies and ensure adherence to corporate policies.

Team Leadership & Reporting:

Supervise, mentor, and develop the office team in London. Foster collaboration with the CFO in France. Implement best practices and ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Profile Requirements:

Degree in finance, accounting, management, or related field. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Auditor, or Finance Manager, ideally within hospitality, F&B, or the luxury industry. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS standards. Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Proficiency with financial systems (ERP) and advanced Excel skills. Proven experience with

XERO

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment.
