An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic and internationally focused organisation on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, complex operations, and the potential to transition into a longer-term or permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production and delivery of monthly management accounts
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including operational leads and high-net-worth individuals
• Ensure timely production, analysis, and reconciliation of the balance sheet
• Lead the day-to-day management of the finance function, supporting the Head of Finance
• Authorise payments and maintain strong cash controls
• Prepare and present funding requests to clients
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain compliance with banking and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls to prevent errors and fraud
• Support monthly performance analysis, including operational and capital expenditure
• Review accruals, prepayments and key accounting adjustments
• Play a key role in system development and process improvement
• Apply best practice accounting standards and contribute to policy development
• Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team
• Produce ad hoc financial reporting as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with proven experience in a similar role
• Experience with Sage X3 / Enterprise or similar financial systems
• Advanced Excel capability
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
• Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders
