We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organisation's financial health and integrity. Duties



Prepare, analyse, and present accurate financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards. Oversee all aspects of financial management including planning, reporting, and control. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilise accounting software such as Sage50, Opera PMS, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations. Monitor organisational cash flow and optimise working capital. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals. Lead the finance team to ensure high standards of performance and professional development. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in financial management.

Experience



Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within Hotel Industry. Extensive knowledge of financial management principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent systems is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and overall accounting processes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in preparing detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are highly desirable.
