Job Description

:
Robert Half are currently partnering with a global manufacturing company based in Wigan in sought of an Interim Financial Controller.
You will need to have experience within the manufacturing industry or experience as a Site Financial Controller.
5 days on site with flexible working hours.
You must be immediately available.
Responsibilities:

Monthly profit forecasting, month end closing & monthly reporting.
Ensuring timely and accurate accounts monthly, reconciling the balance sheet to supporting detail.
Management of 1 experienced finance assistant.
Monthly management accounts preparation & presenting to senior leadership team.
Financial Audit; liaising with external auditors, responsible for providing documentation Year end closure including year end adjustments if necessary.
Close cost control through managing budgets alongside departmental heads.
Stock control analysis, determining slow moving stock, and the process to improve stock controls

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) - desirable but not essential.
Manufacturing experience.
Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of SAP and MS Excel with exceptional analysis skills.
