Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the full running of our accounts department. A knowledge of stock control would be an advantage but not essential as a handover will be given via our chartered accountants.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

Management of accounts department. Preparation of monthly Management accounts Re conciliations and Trial Balance and full P&L analysis Sales and purchase Ledgers Credit & Debit control Producing monthly Journals including vat Quarterly HMRC vat returns Bank reconciliations & Petty cash monitoring Forward contacts in USD only, with monitoring the exchange rates Stock Ordering monthly & updating the stock spread sheets
Hours Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.30

Salary 36.000

Pallet Truck Warehouse are a well-established privately owned company with 2.5M sales turnover of handling equipment. We are expanding year on year from our company owned premises in Milton Keynes and during 2025 to cater for this growth of the company. We have ample free parking for staff.
