We are now looking for an experienced and detail-orientated Financial Controller to join our team and ensure that our financial operations remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
The Role
Are you a qualified accountant with hands-on experience managing end-to-end finance in a dynamic business? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our day-to-day finance function, work closely with our Finance Director, and ensure compliance with UK standards and international reporting.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organised, and is confident working autonomously across a wide range of financial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely financial records
Manage and operate NetSuite and Xero accounting systems
Oversee UK payroll, ensuring full compliance with HMRC and employment regulations
Prepare and file VAT returns and UK corporate tax filings
Finalise monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts under IFRS
Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
Ensure all financial operations are in line with statutory requirements
What We're Looking For
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
5+ years of relevant finance experience
Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and Xero
In-depth understanding of UK payroll, VAT, and corporate tax compliance
Familiarity with IFRS financial reporting standards
Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
A proactive, reliable, and solutions-driven approach
