Job Description

Aligner Dental Academy is the leading support and education provider for dental professionals using clear aligner therapy in EMEA.

The position of Financial Controller is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic and motivated individual to ensure the finances of Aligner Dental Academy are appropriately managed by creating and developing the appropriate processes and infrastructure as well as being an integral part of any key decisions within the business.

The position is based in Ireland and the successful candidate may be required to do some travel. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing growth of Aligner Dental Academy into a profitable and sustainable business through appropriate financial management.

They will work collaboratively with all members of the Aligner Dental Academy team, most notably with the other members of the Aligner Dental Academy Leadership Team.

Key Duties:



Delivering all the financial reporting both from a legal and regulatory point of view as well as from a management reporting perspective. Creating consistent processes and structure for delivering the financial reporting. Giving a strong financial perspective to key decisions throughout the business. Creating budgets and budget owners, ensuring they are appropriately managed. Proactively analysing data to help drive the business towards its vision of the future. Processing and management of payroll function.

The successful candidate:



Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA or ACMA A minimum of 4 years' experience in a financial/accounting position. Fluent in English. Possess strong IT skills including MS Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in Sage 50 Accounts a distinct advantage. Have excellent oral and written communication skills. Have good presentation skills. Display strong attention to detail. Demonstrate a commercially aware and client focused approach. Be a good team player, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently when required. Payroll experience essential.

Pay: 60,000.00-65,000.00 per year
