perfect for van lifers, campers, and tiny home dwellers.

with one leading on product innovation and R&D, the other driving marketing and

growth.

+ Role Overview



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and a proven ability to lead and operationalise financial activities. This role is crucial for guiding our financial strategy and supporting our company's rapid growth.

As a Financial Controller, you will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of independently finding solutions to new challenges and questions that arise as our company scales. You will be a highly organised and motivated professional who thrives on improving processes and ensuring financial accuracy.

+ Key Responsibilities



Financial Operations



Manage bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and the tracking of monthly inventory valuations and P&L. Ensure timely submission of VAT and sales tax returns. Handle payroll and pension contributions. Manage financial administration tasks such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Develop, document, and communicate internal procedures to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. Assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance as necessary. Work with external accountants or advisors as required.

Financial Reporting and Insights



Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall financial performance. Develop and maintain financial reports to provide clear visibility into the health of the business. Contribute financial insights to improve strategic decision-making and resource efficiency. Collaborate with external advisors to ensure tax efficiency. Monitor tax risks across all regions where the company operates.

Strategic Contributions



Work closely with the CEO to prepare annual budgets and achieve our ambitious growth plans. Support the CEO with business planning, growth strategies, and applications for fundraising or grants.

+ Education and Experience



Financial Qualifications:

Relevant financial qualifications are required, with a preference for a recognised accounting designation (such as a CPA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Operational Management:

We're looking for a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial operations, ideally within a startup or small business environment. You should have a proven track record of establishing and optimising financial processes.

Financial Acumen:

Essential experience includes expertise in core financial operations such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and inventory tracking.

Strategic & International Experience:

Experience with multiple currencies, international tax regulations, and/or managing multiple legal entities is preferred. You should be comfortable analysing complex financial data to provide strategic insights and inform key business decisions.

Working Conditions



Hours of work:

The hours of work for the position are 40 hours per week, working

Monday - Friday.

Annual Leave:

Full time employees are entitled to annual paid leave of 28 days

inclusive of public holidays. For part-time employees, annual leave

will be pro rata'd based on days worked.

Overtime expectations:

Occasionally, such as before important business events and

deadlines, we may need "all hands on deck" and we may ask you to

work additional hours.

Work environment:

Desk based, primarily from home.

Travel requirements:

Periodic travel to London for meetings.

On-call responsibilities:

None

Tenure and Probation:

Appointment will be made on a permanent basis. Appointment will

be subject to satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary

period.
