THE ROLE
A well-established organisation in the housing sector is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to step in and steady the ship as part of a wider finance restructure.
There's a bit of urgency - someone's leaving shortly - so they need someone who can quickly take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and quarterly/monthly reporting. You'll also be supporting year-end, working with auditors, and producing timely financials for various committees.
You'll be leading a team of 7 - strong on processing but looking for leadership from someone with solid qualifications and experience. They're also open to someone who wants to streamline reporting and bring in a few tech improvements if you've got that in your locker.
They use Home Master, so any familiarity with that would help - and housing sector experience is a definite bonus.
It's a 6-month contract, with real potential to turn permanent if the fit's right. Open to someone working 3 or 4 days a week, and there's full flexibility on how you want to structure it - PAYE, umbrella, limited etc.
