This role will suit a qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified-by-experience candidate with strong team management experience and a proactive approach to driving financial insight.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly financial reporting and deliver accurate management accounts
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Ensure robust financial controls and risk management procedures are in place
• Provide insightful analysis to support senior management decision-making
• Monitor and manage company cashflow and banking activities
• Handle all statutory submissions and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Lead the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
• Manage and develop a small finance team to ensure timely and accurate output
• Foster collaboration between finance and other departments

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• CIMA/ACCA qualified (or QBE) with experience in a senior finance role
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Microsoft AX (or similar)
• Highly organised with excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
• Experience in manufacturing or similar industries is desirable
