Financial Controller



Part-time an office-based role.

60,000 pa

40 hours per week. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated Financial Controller to join our team.

As Financial Controller you will collaborate with Directors and Managers across all departments of the Business to optimise financial operations and strategies, and support decision making. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are therefore essential to this role.

The Financial Controller will regularly report to our Senior board of Directors, clear, accurate and well-presented financial information. You will play an integral part in Safeguarding company assets, and join a respectful and appreciative team.

The Ideal Candidate



The ideal candidate will require sound experience in finance and accounting. A fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities:



? Oversee and manage day to day financial operations, accounts receivable and accounts payable

? Financial planning and analysis, including preparing and analysing budgets

? Liaise with Managers to produce financial budgets and forecasting future financial performance

? Develop clear and accurate month end reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

? Enhance and refine financial processes

? Safeguarding company assets

? Provide senior management with timely and reliable financial information to support decision making and performance

? Develop financial strategies and share analysis findings with the Senior Board of Directors

? Ensure strong compliance with Government regulations, financial policies, controls, and audit standards

Requirements:



? Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

? Strong experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with a background in

finance and accounting

? Excellent communication skills

? Enthusiastic and committed with a passion for continuous development

? Experience in analysing and enhancing systems, processes and financial strategies

? Fine attention to detail and presentation of financial information

? Organised and self-motivated

? Experience in FMCG

? Proven leadership abilities
