Financial Controller
to play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and supporting our next phase of growth.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of Advantiv's financial management, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all financial operations. This is a hands-on role with strategic oversight -- ideal for someone who enjoys both day-to-day financial control and contributing to business direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Oversee and improve internal financial systems, controls, and processes
Partner with senior leadership to inform business decisions and support strategic planning
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
Supervise and mentor finance team members (where applicable)
Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and financial reporting requirements
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - desirable
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role
Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and data analytics
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organisation
