Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, revenue recognition, reporting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations, driving informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Recognition:

  • Lead the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue streams from various sources.
Financial Reporting:
  • Manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the various business units.
  • Oversea timely and accurate financial reporting of both local statutory and tax requirements as well as US GAAP requirements.
  • Abide by the robust internal control procedures to enhance company control environment and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Support balance sheet review and governance processes.
  • Support and approvals for transactional processing of POs, invoices, and intercompany service requests.
  • Ad Hoc financial reporting tasks with local/regional teams.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to develop detailed financial plans.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical results.
  • Monitor financial performance vs. forecasts.
Media Bill Pay
  • Support the Finance Operations team by liaising with the business to ensure timely booking, billing, and reconciliation of media activity.
Team Management:
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and supervision to our finance analyst, fostering professional development and a collaborative environment.
  • Manage workload distribution, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
Business Partnering
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial colleagues.
  • Support the business with finance processes and procedures such as travel, expense, corporate credit cards, timesheets, adhoc billing requests.
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience
  • Related work experience.
  • Media or Advertising experience highly preferred.
  • Part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or other equivalent experience.
Skills
  • Proactive self-starter who is curious to understand how processes work and how they can be improved.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP software
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in an environment of change.
