KCR Solutions is proud to partner with a leading international organisation in the search for a talented Financial Controller to join their team in Washington. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and internationally recognised business. Your duties will include the following:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and present monthly management accounts Monthly financials and produce reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Generate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders Support the annual external audit process

Budgeting & Cost Management

Develop and review annual budgets; support managers in budget planning Oversee product costing across UK and European subsidiaries Monitor and manage systems used to determine unit product costs Conduct regular product margin and sales analysis Analyse costs for new products and investigate cost-related issues

Intercompany & Business Support

Ensure appropriate intercompany pricing across entities Provide financial analysis for new and existing business ventures Supply financial data to Head Office for reporting, tax, insurance, and banking purposes

Accounting Operations

Review cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activity Prepare and post monthly journal entries Reconcile accounts to the general ledger

Candidate Profile

We're seeking a qualified Accountant, though candidates who are QBE or part-qualified will also be considered. You'll bring several years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong Excel skills are essential.
