Cheshire Pub Company is a dynamic, independent hospitality group with a growing collection of pubs, bars and restaurants across Cheshire. We are now looking for a confident and capable Financial Controller to join our Head Office team and help drive the next stage of our growth.
The Role
You'll work alongside our Finance Director, Managing Director and a dedicated accounts team to oversee the financial performance of multiple venues. Your focus will be on strong financial control, insightful reporting and supporting operational teams to make commercially smart decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day accounting operations and financial processes
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reporting and commentary
Lead budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis across the group
Partner with venue managers to improve profitability and cost control
Develop and enhance accounting systems, processes and controls
Support business planning for new site openings and investment projects
Support the Finance team, encouraging development and collaboration
What You'll Bring
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience)
Multi-site hospitality/retail background preferred
Strong technical skills across management accounting and compliance
Proficient with Sage 50 and confident working with EPOS integrations/data
Excellent communicator who can build trust across venues and teams
Proactive approach with the commercial curiosity to challenge and improve
