About the Role



A hands-on position, this is a great opportunity for someone who balances big-picture thinking with operational expertise.

As Financial Controller/Director, you'll lead and develop a small finance team, manage day-to-day finance operations and statistical analysis of costs and income by divisions, streamline processes, and drive strategic insight across the business, provide financial reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

Key Responsibilities



Team Leadership

: Develop and lead the finance team, set objectives, and coach for performance

Operational Oversight

: Manage transactional finance, payroll, and credit control

Systems & Controls

: Enhance internal processes and leverage information from inter all CRM and Smartsheet systems effectively

Reporting & Analysis

: Deliver management accounts, KPIs, and cash flow forecasting

Compliance & Year-End

: Oversee VAT, statutory filings, and lead external accountant coordination

Business Partnering

: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape strategy through financial insight

Supplier Relationships

and negotiation of competitive pricing structures

What We're Looking For



Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) Strong commercial and analytical mindset Proven leadership in finance teams Excellent Excel and attention to detail Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting

What We Offer



Competitive salary biannual share bonus on achieving KPIs and Objectives 33 days' holiday (incl. bank holidays) 1 day per week Working from home flexible long term Company pension, Health and Well being scheme
Salary - 50,000 - 60,000 OTE +
