The Financial Coordinator is responsible for managing all day-to-day financial operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day financial tasks for both the charity and its trading company, including maintenance of the Purchase and Sales ledgers and all associated reconciliations, bank reconciliations, client payments and shop takings.
Process the Company's monthly payroll and annual payroll submissions to HMRC, including the implementation of the HMRC new RTI requirements.
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
Cash flow forecasting.
Budgeting and Forecasting (including management of CAPEX budgets).
Preparation and completion of year end statutory accounts and liaison with auditors.
Preparation of regulatory returns e.g., Charity Commission and Companies House.
Provision of financial statements and reports.
Experience
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
