Join us as a Financial Crime Threat Mitigation Manager

  • You\'ll be delivering intelligence, investigations and reporting capabilities to understand and manage the financial crime risks facing our bank
  • Day-to-day, you\'ll be supporting the Boxed Operations Leadership team, as well as stakeholders in the Product and Risk functions, to drive continous improvements across the proposition and its processes
  • This is your opportunity to use your skillset to act as a conduit to gather intelligence from both internal and external agencies to conduct threat assessments to mitigate the harms associated with financial crime
What you\'ll do

Working with stakeholders across our bank, industry, law enforcement and government, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be making sure that delivered products meet legal and regulatory requirements and are of an industry-leading standard in detecting and preventing financial crime.

Your other key responsibilities will involve:
  • Delivering intelligence, investigations or reporting products in a timely, effective and professional manner
  • Taking part in and coordinating complex investigations by using a variety of resources to support investigations involving multiple accounts and financial crime typologies
  • Identifying and prioritising intel gathered through internal and external collaborations and acting as an internal point of contact to ensure financial crime risks are mitigated
  • Conducting threat assessments to identify financial crime exposures of new features and products
  • Contributing to the continous development and enhancements of the financial crime risk management framework and control environment
The skills you\'ll need

To be successful in this role, you\'ll need anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing or anti-bribery and corruption experience and knowledge, coupled with an understanding of the financial crime legal and regulatory environment.

Furthermore, you\'ll need:
  • A track record of financial crime intelligence or investigation delivery
  • An understanding of the broader needs of internal and external partners and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of how to work collaboratively and influence direction
