Financial Insights Analyst



30,000 to 32,500 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6B)

Manchester city centre (hybrid working)


We're looking for a Financial Insights Analyst to join us in Manchester to help produce and analyse the budget for our food stores. In this role you'll work in a hybrid way - spending at least one day per week working from the office.


Working closely alongside your colleagues in our Finance and Operations teams, you'll help to make sure that all strategies, initiatives, risks, and opportunities are accurately reflected in our plans.

What you'll do



Assist in producing budgets/forecasts for our operations (i.e. store payroll, store retail costs and leakage) Support with analysis for financial insight, results tracking, monthly reporting and variance investigation Assist with the food store-level allocation of budgets/forecasts Take ownership of monthly store openings and closures Perform financial system uploads and assist with operations projects to make sure they're delivered effectively

What you'll bring



An interest in studying towards an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPS and pivot tables) Good communication skills, with the ability to translate often complex and intricate language to a non-financial audience Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively to deliver results successfully
