Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor (or CILEX equivalent with Higher Rights) to join our dynamic financial mis-selling team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law and demonstrate exceptional analytical and communication skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing legal matters, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Solicitor will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and the organisation by navigating complex legal frameworks effectively.

Duties

Provide expert legal advice on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Draft and review legal documents to protect the interests of clients. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as required. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on legal strategies and objectives. Manage case files efficiently, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry trends that may impact client interests or organisational practices.

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in server management, information security, network security, disaster recovery, systems engineering, and technical support. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ideally ProClaim Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations effectively. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong litigation skills and understanding of the CPR Good understanding of financial mi-selling claim types and case law
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-43,000.00 per year
