The Opportunity

We are working with a specialist law firm who are seeking an experienced

Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor

to join their Manchester team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex and high-value financial litigation matters in a supportive environment, with a hybrid working model for excellent work-life balance.

The Role

Manage a caseload of financial mis-selling claims from instruction through to settlement or trial. Provide clear, practical advice and high-quality representation to clients. Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including claim forms, witness statements, and settlement agreements. Conduct negotiations with defendants, insurers, and other representatives to achieve the best possible outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, professional, and firm standards. Supervise and mentor junior staff where appropriate. Maintain accurate records using the firm's case management system.

Key Requirements

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with an active practising certificate. Demonstrable experience in handling financial mis-selling claims (pensions, investments, mortgages, PPI, or similar regulated products). Strong knowledge of litigation processes and civil procedure rules. Excellent client care and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a busy caseload independently. Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. IT proficiency, including case management systems.
