Are you a finance professional with a talent for modelling and a passion for transformation? We're looking for a Financial Modeller to support Royal Mail's Future Network Strategy programme--one of the most significant investment initiatives in our history. This is a key role within the Operations Strategy and Design team, helping shape the future of our national delivery network.

About the Role





Reporting to the Senior Financial Modeller, you'll support the development and management of business case models that underpin strategic investment decisions. You'll work closely with project and finance teams to ensure modelling integrity, challenge assumptions, and deliver insights that drive programme success.

Key Responsibilities:



Support development of high-level business case models for network investment decisions. Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and ensure modelling follows best practice. Maintain model integrity and challenge assumptions where needed. Contribute to programme delivery and ad hoc strategic projects. Inspire others to deliver successful outcomes across time, cost, benefit, and quality. Promote ethical and professional standards in all stakeholder interactions.

About You





You're a detail-oriented and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring strong modelling skills, stakeholder engagement, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.

What You'll Bring:



Qualified accountant or working towards qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience building financial models for large-scale investment cases. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Understanding of Royal Mail operations and transformation programmes. Ability to manage multiple project strands and build cross-functional relationships.
