What You'll Do
As a Financial Operations Analyst, you'll support the smooth financial operation of the utilities market by managing settlement processes, verifying data, and publishing financial reports. Key responsibilities include:
  • Producing and validating settlement documents and market reports
  • Conducting daily and weekly cashflow and credit risk checks
  • Working with internal systems to monitor and process financial data
  • Publishing timely financial reports and market communications
  • Handling stakeholder queries and escalating issues where needed
  • Supporting process improvements, system testing, and documentation updates
  • Ensuring compliance with financial codes and operational deadlines
About You
You'll thrive in a deadline-driven environment and enjoy working with financial data, systems, and collaborative teams. You will have:
Essential:
  • 1-2 years' experience in a finance admin or transactional finance role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort using multiple systems
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years' post-graduate experience in a financial role
  • Experience in a regulated or process-heavy environment
