About the role...

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for the treasury, cashflow and banking management for the business and consolidation, analysis and challenge of the P&L, cashflow and balance sheet forecasts.

A great opportunity to undertake a challenging and highly stimulating role, you'll make a significant impact to the business. This is a full-time role based from our Chorley office with a hybrid style of working.

What will your day look like...

Lead and consolidate financial forecasting across P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet, ensuring robust and accurate forecasts for shareholders. Review, challenge, and analyse forecast movements, variances, and working capital to drive financial insight and accountability. Own the annual budgeting process, including consolidation, detailed contract-level analysis, and preparation of shareholder presentation packs. Manage short- and long-term liquidity, including daily/weekly cash forecasting, payment allocation, and ensuring strong cash controls. Deliver clear management reporting on forecast accuracy, liquidity, cashflow performance, and payment trends. Build and maintain strong banking relationships, taking responsibility for all banking matters and supporting ad-hoc business projects.

About you...

You'll bring proven FP&A expertise, with hands-on experience consolidating forecasts and managing treasury, cashflow, and liquidity. With strong analytical and communication skills, you're confident presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders. You're either CIMA/ACCA qualified (or QBE) and thrive in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint comes naturally, and you're comfortable using technology to deliver accurate, impactful analysis.
