We are seeking an analytical and strategic FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for reporting the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
With the Head of FP&A, lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, risks & opportunities and long-term planning processes for the group.
Lead the Headcount reporting within the business; to facilitate budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses on both volume and costs.
Cost Centre management of some smaller business functions including Facilities and HR.
Partner with Finance Business Partners to analyse financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models to support various initiatives, including group forecasting, payroll reporting, and scenario planning.
Prepare monthly management reporting packs (consolidate commentary), variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Manage and improve FP&A systems, tools, and reporting processes (e.g. Planful Forecasting, Workforce Planning, SpotlightXL, MS Excel).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Financial Control, Commercial Finance and other teams to ensure alignment of financial goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Finalist/Newly Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), ideally within a Commercial, FP&A, or Finance role.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven experience of business partnering in a dynamic, commercial environment.
Comfortable managing ambiguity and influencing senior stakeholders with confidence.
Strong communication skills--able to tailor financial storytelling to both finance and non-finance audiences.
Energetic and adaptable mindset, always seeking ways to improve and contribute beyond the core remit.
Experience working in a SaaS and a matrixed or multi-entity environment is a plus.
