The Role
Provide analytical support and act as a business partner to operating units, senior management, and the board.
Offer strategic recommendations on key financial, operational, and marketing matters.
Lead strategic projects, securing necessary board and shareholder support.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of periodic and ad hoc reports.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Main Duties
Act as the primary contact for the Director of Strategic Insights and collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including, but not limited to, weekly forecasts, development and capex-modelling, capex, cash-flow, working-capital tracking, NPV and DCF appraisals, and annual budgets.
Manage FP&A Analyst.
Develop presentations with performance insights for senior management, the board, and external stakeholders.
Provide KPI reporting, trend analyses, and actionable recommendations to departments and the company at large e.g.
+ Analyse labour metrics to identify staffing efficiency opportunities,
+ Evaluate marketing effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations. Continuously enhance financial and analytical reporting processes.
Ensure consistent cooperation with operational teams, marketing, HR, and other departments to maintain high efficiency, quality and value of output.
Uphold compliance with internal controls, standards, and company policies.
Who You Are
Extensive experience in corporate finance, consultancy, financial modelling, and/or investment appraisal, and therefore, a solid financial planning and analytical background.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure, able to work autonomously in a dynamic environment, and brings a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
Desired Skills
Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA/CFA).
Previous experience in multi-site leisure/hospitality operations.
