Job Description

The Role: Financial Reporting Accountant
The Location: London City Centre (Hybrid working)
The Client: Real Estate Investment Manager
Key Responsibilities

Prepare annual financial statements under various GAAPs (UK, Dutch, Luxembourg, IFRS).
Lead the audit process, including preparation of audit files and addressing queries.
Strengthen internal controls and ensure accurate reconciliations.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and accounting teams to ensure proper revenue recognition.
Coordinate with tax advisors for timely submission of tax returns.
Oversee VAT and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
Prepare board packs and financial analysis reports.
Submit statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., PPPR, ONS).
Supervise shared service centre outputs and outsourced providers.
Support global finance teams with accounting data and queries.

Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years of experience.
Strong technical knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Expertise in financial, tax, and regulatory reporting.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and process improvement focused.
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., PeopleSoft, OneStream, Trintech Cadency) is a plus.
