Financial Reporting Manager

to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Financial Controller.

This is your chance to shine in a pivotal role, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of our financial reporting. You'll contribute to strategic initiatives, lead critical processes, and help ensure compliance within the rewarding financial services sector.

What you'll do:



Prepare statutory accounts and regulatory returns that adhere to top-tier standards. Manage month-end and year-end close processes for accurate and timely reporting. Oversee our year-end audit process and collaborate with external auditors. Provide expert technical accounting advice and drive improvements in financial controls. Mentor and develop junior Finance team members. Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects and analysis.

What we're looking for:



ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified (recently qualified or post-qualification experience). Experienced in financial reporting, ideally within financial services or regulated environments. Proficient in UK GAAP and/or IFRS with strong technical accounting know-how. A proactive individual with exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Confident in forging relationships across all levels of a business and keen to make positive changes.
