The Financial Risk Manager (FRM) function aims to optimise the usage of capital within the Investment Bank (IB), by strategically allocating financial resources to different businesses, identifying mitigation strategies and hedges and supporting the businesses in facing regulatory changes with the aim of maximising the Return on Tangible Equity (RoTE) of the IB.
You will report to the Head of IB & Rates FRM, responsible for helping to manage the capital for the IB and the capital and funding for Europe and United States Rates. This will include short-term management of capital consumption, strategic planning of capital deployment and project-based reviews and optimisation of the different types of capital.
