A leading elite city law firm are loooking to expand their non contentious financial services practice.
The firm operate on a global platform. They are looking to strategically expand their financial services practice. The practice deals with the entire life cycle of firms within the financial services sector- this ranges from assisting founders who are seeking investment, product development and advising on the application of PRA and FCA regulations through to managing PRA / FCA Enforcement investigations and Police / SFO investigations. The practice is one of the most largest and experienced outside of the magic circle. Three of partners in the team as well as one of the associates have previously worked in house at the financial services authority. The practice group act for a high number of high profile clients that includes Revolut, Starling, AIG, Allica Bank, Zopa, and Lendinvest. Ultimately this is a very good platform for someone who is looking to advance their career as a financial regulatory lawyer on a global platform. You will mainly focus on regulatory matters however their is the opportunity to also become involved with some contentious mandates.
