to play a pivotal role in the rollout of our new Finance system. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with the Group Head of Financial Compliance and Tax, Finance, PMO, Business Intelligence, and ICT teams to ensure a seamless transition from our current systems.
This is a hands-on role that blends finance expertise with project management, system configuration, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You will also lead training and documentation, ensuring all teams can confidently use the new system and benefit from enhanced reporting and controls.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support the implementation and integration of the new Finance system with existing Group systems.
Lead data cleansing, reconciliations, and the development of financial reports.
Manage Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Project Team members involved in system delivery.
Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation, testing, and training materials.
Implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures across the Group.
Act as the key point of contact for system-related queries and issues.
Maintain effective relationships with system suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and corporate risk frameworks.
Contribute to delivering value-for-money initiatives and process efficiencies.
Embed equality, diversity, and health & safety standards in all work.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified or finalist-level accountant (ACCA, CIMA).
Proven experience in implementing Finance systems within large, complex organisations.
Strong knowledge of finance processes, data management, SQL, business intelligence reporting, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
Experience in leading change, shaping systems and processes, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong leadership qualities, able to motivate, influence, and inspire teams.
Flexible approach to working hours and travel as required.
Interview Process:
The interview process will be conducted in two stages:
Stage One: A 30-minute Teams call.
Stage Two: An in-person interview, which will include a competency-based interview and a presentation
