About the Role
At Crown Fine Art, we specialise in the safe handling, transportation, and installation of priceless artworks. As a part of the team, you'll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to ensure every masterpiece is treated with the respect and precision it deserves.
The Site Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of all Crown Fine Art Sites within the UK, specialising in the handling, storage, and transportation of fine art and high-value collectibles.
This role ensures that all activities meet the highest standards of care, security, and efficiency.
This role oversees all warehouse staff, including the manager, supervisor, technicians, and apprentice technicians.
What You'll Do
Co-ordination of all operational bookings
Ensures smooth scheduling and execution of fine art movements, which is critical for client satisfaction and resource planning.
Maintain vehicle utilisation and cost management of staff, vehicles and company resources
Directly affects operational efficiency and budget control, especially important when handling high-value items.
Maintaining and updating information for compliance to H&S / transport / DFT legislation & VOSA
Vital for legal compliance and maintaining the integrity of fine art logistics operations.
Ensuring storage and warehouse are maintained, H&S compliant and a safe place to work
Protects both staff and valuable artworks, ensuring the environment meets conservation and safety standards.
Responsible for the operational usage of company software systems
Supports accurate tracking, documentation, and communication across departments.
Maintain communication with the operations and other departments for day-to-day processes and exchange of general information
Facilitates collaboration and ensures alignment across teams, which is key in a service-driven logistics environment.
