Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fine Wine Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and leading a team. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies. Our new Fine Wine Warehouse Manager will liaise on a daily basis with our Shop and Cellar Management, work may occasionally be required from our Central London Head Offices.

Duties



Fine Wine Warehouse Manager

Overall management of the warehouse and control of goods in/out operation and stock control for the organisation including the development, performance and maintenance of the warehouse to produce a compliant, efficient system and solution, maximising performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets and controls. Ensuring that the team understands the mechanism of the warehouse, their duties and role within the organisation Contribute to training and development of the team and organisation as a whole Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures The smooth running of the team and organisation as a whole Assist Line Manager in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organisation plans Manage, direct and monitor management of the warehouse for the organisation including the development, performance and maintenance of the warehouse, goods in/out operation and stock control, to produce efficient systems and delivery solutions, maximising performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets and control. Effective liaison, support and assistance with the whole of the organisation, especially the buyers, cellar managers, web team and sales team Utilise appropriate systems to manage the warehouse functions, analysis and documentation Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review Maintain accurate records Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls

Skills



Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices. Fine wine andr spirits knowledge Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and documentation requirements. Experience with forklift operation and safety protocols. Ability to use inventory software Ability to analyse data for continuous improvement opportunities within the warehouse operations. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-47,000.00 per year
