We are a creative construction and manufacturing company and are responsible for delivering some of the most iconic projects in recent times. We are a multi-disciplined manufacturing facility spread over 12,000Sqm of estate with four manufacturing and storage facilities, engineering, fabrication, woodwork, finishing and a specialist manufacturing facility.

The

Finishing Technician

will support the HQ Paint department in delivering high end exhibition finishes on required projects. As we encounter such a broad range of projects, we need to be able to satisfy the equally broad range of variable skills regarding paint application, curing and durability of finish.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing materials including filling & sanding and preparing surfaces using metal, wood or plastic part to sand or ground surface. Responsible for ensuring all surfaces are prepared to give the best possible finish. Applying primer coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats. Mixing paints using a schemed database system. Developing spraying skills by working in a spray booth. Using internal ERP system for signing off stages in production. Clearly communicate all relevant information including job progress and any problems and/or issues. Communicate in a positive manner with other team members and departments.

Details of the Role

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30-16:00, with overtime as required

Location: Tockwith, York
