We are seeking a detailed driven Fire Safety Supervisor (or Trainee) to oversee all aspects of fire safety compliance across our Construction and Refurbishment projects across the Northwest. This role is crucial in ensuring that all works meet the highest standards of Fire Protection and Building Regulations compliance, particularly in relation to Part B - Fire Safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, recording, and signing off all fire related elements on our projects, including fire doors and passive fire protection systems.

FIRAS Accreditation Provided:


Amspec will support the successful candidate in obtaining FIRAS accreditation under the Company's approved scheme.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and assess fire related risks and issues across multiple project sites. Review fire strategy reports and technical drawings prior to project commencement. Ensure compliance with Building Control Part B - Fire Safety requirements throughout each project. Act as the main use of the Bolster system Amspec use for documenting all passive fire details, including:
-Recording all fire compartment (passive fire) construction details.

-Monitoring and tracking project progress in real-time (via iPad or laptop).

-Uploading, managing, and maintaining all project documentation, including RAMS, toolbox talks, COSHH data sheets, and O&M file information with assistance from our Health, Safety and Compliance Manager.

Oversee and sign off all Amspec Fire Door and Passive Fire Protection installations under the FIRAS scheme. Carry out surveys relating to Fire doors and passive fire protection Conduct client site visits to inspect fire doors and assist with pricing maintenance or remedial works. Manage fire safety specific projects, including fire door installation and passive fire installation works. Print and manage labelling for all completed passive fireworks via our bolster system

About You



Experience in fire safety, passive fire protection, or a related supervisory role. Qualified Fire Door Inspector (with certification from an accredited provider such as FDIS, BlueSky, or equivalent). Qualified in Passive Fire Protection Inspection (from an accredited training provider). Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Proficient with digital project tracking or reporting tools (experience with Bolster advantageous). Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to various project sites.

Hours of work are 40 per week, 07.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum and a Company pension scheme with Royal London.
