Our services include the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarms and fire detection systems.

We also offer fire risk assessments across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, and throughout South Yorkshire.Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sheffield for a Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Engineer.

The engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, troubleshooting and repairing systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires a detailed understanding of various lighting systems and fire safety protocols.

Qualifications

Experience with Lighting Control, Lighting Design, LED Lighting Systems, Lighting, and Street Lighting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of fire safety regulations and protocols

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and on-site in SheffieldRelevant certifications in fire safety and electrical engineering are preferredPrevious experience in a similar role is a plus

Ideal Qualifications

Good knowledge of BS5839-1/BS566-1

Experience with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems

Knowledge of fire safety regulations and protocols

Relevant certifications in fire safety and electrical engineering

1-3 years of experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting engineering

Must be located in commutable distance to Sheffield, England, United Kingdom

Preferred Qualifications
