Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire safety systems and engineering principles, with a focus on the design and implementation of fire protection solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing fire safety measures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of fire systems into building designs. Perform testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment using hand tools and power tools. Provide technical support and guidance during the installation process. Stay updated on industry standards (BS 5839) codes, and regulations related to fire safety.

Experience

Proven experience in with fire alarm installation, maintenance and servicing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex electrical systems. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation and maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Wage from 45K-50K, plus overtime. Working in Essex, London and the surrounding areas. Full UK driver's licence is a must.
