We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Install Engineer to join our established MOD team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a growing company while working across a variety of interesting and secure sites.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and installation of fire alarm systems across multiple MOD locations. Day-to-day tasks include:
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and replacing defective components
Ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant
Supporting project teams with installation and upgrade works
Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and skilled engineer with strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
Hands-on experience within the maintenance and service industry
Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings
Strong commitment to Health & Safety and adherence to all guidelines
Full UK Driving Licence
Relevant fire alarm qualifications and FIA training
