At Fire & Flood, we're experts in restoring homes and businesses affected by fire, water, flood, and impact damage. We combine technical excellence with outstanding customer service--and we're looking for a detail-oriented Fire and Flood Surveyor to join our team in Bristol.

About the Role

As a Fire and Flood Surveyor, you'll assess property damage remotely--using photographs, videos, and documentation to scope the works and propose accurate, cost-effective restoration solutions. You'll be based in our Bristol office, supporting a wide range of property damage claims from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Assess damage from fire, flood, impact, and subsidence via remote tools Produce detailed restoration specifications and cost estimates Handle a high caseload efficiently and ensure smooth project delivery Liaise with clients, insurers, and contractors to agree scope and costs Draft method statements and H&S assessments for each job Carry out desk-based inspections to validate completed works Ensure proposals meet building regs, planning rules, and insurance policies Keep accurate records for audit and compliance Contribute to ongoing process improvements

What We're Looking For

Strong understanding of UK building regulations and property restoration Experience in insurance repairs or restoration surveying Comfortable working with claims management systems and remote tools Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Bonus Points For:

Degree or HND in Building Surveying or Construction Management Membership with RICS, CIOB or similar Experience with Symbility, Xactimate, or other estimating tools A full UK driving licence
